I was that little girl rummaging through her mother’s makeup eagerly twisting the lipsticks, smearing the eyeshadows, and dabbing the beautiful colors on my face. I was that teenager excitedly trying out eyeliner when my mother took me to the makeup counter for the first time. Since then, my love for makeup has only grown. From exploring and experimenting with different products to practicing on friends before dances and nights out, I always felt at peace when doing makeup and a sense of accomplishment when I saw what I could create. With a friend’s encouragement, I attended an intensive makeup course in Los Angeles and began to see my love of makeup not only as a hobby, but also as a serious career.
As the years have passed, I have grown to appreciate the step by step process and the artistry of creating a beautiful face. I believe makeup is there to reflect your true self and bring out your natural beauty and nothing makes me happier than seeing a big smile on a client’s face after I finish applying her makeup. I am so fortunate to love what I do and utilize my skills to make women feel great about themselves. Makeup is temporary, but true beauty is everlasting.
